Please take a moment to review this checklist to make sure you've
included everything we need to print your job.
GENERAL
REQUIREMENTS

Layout
is in an acceptable format: Quark, InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker
or PDF. |
|
Document
size is set to finished trim size.
(i.e. If your final size AFTER trimming is 8.5"x11",
then your document size should also be 8.5"x11") |
| |
Bleeds are all pulled out, extending beyond the
page edge at
least 1/8" on all sides. |
IMAGES
| |
All
images are set to AT LEAST 300 dpi. |
|
Only
.jpg, .tiff, .bmp,
.pdf or .eps images are
linked.

Please do not use native .psd, .ai, or .gif files in InDesign.
They WILL NOT work with our ripping system.
All links must be in one of the above formats.

Four-Color images are all converted to CMYK,
not RGB. |
|
All images are included with layout file. |
|
|
IF
YOU ARE USING ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR FOR LAYOUT
|
ALL non-vector artwork
is linked, not placed, in Illustrator. |
|
All supporting non-vector artwork is included
in the folder with the Illustrator document. |
|
FONTS
| |
Both
printer fonts and screen fonts are included with the job. |
|
|
If
creating a .pdf, all fonts are embeded. |
|
|
When using Illustrator layouts, logos,
or other artwork fonts must be converted to outlines or included
with the job. |
COLORS
| |
All
images and workspaces are set appropriately to CMYK or Grayscale. |
|
PMS
colors are set as spot colors in ALL layout, and support files.
|
|
Unused colors are removed from swatch
pallettes in layout and support files. |
|
All spot color names match for consistency. (i.e.
PMS 300 C, and PMS 300 CVC should match to either one or the
other) |
|
All black text is set to 100% black and NOT a
CMYK mix. Do not use "registration black" for black
text. |
MISC
| |
If
die cutting is needed, die lines are included in the document
layout using a new PMS spot color not already used in the file. |
| |
Extraneous guides are removed from
layout. |
|
ALL ITEMS not intended to print
are removed from the electronic file. Please indicate fold lines
and other notes on HARD PROOF ONLY. |

|
A hard proof is provided. |
